Set Your Heart on the Exits of the Sanctuary

Handbook 4: Article 26 - Part 3: An Appointed Time, an Appointed Work: Restoring God's House!

"...mark well and set your heart to know... all those who are excluded from the sanctuary."

Ezekiel 44:5 (Amplified)

"...the gate is wide and the way is broad that leads to destruction, and many are those who enter by it."

Matthew 7:13

Daniel's Vision

"In the first year of Belshazzar king of Babylon Daniel saw a dream and visions in his mind as he lay on his bed...

'I kept looking
Until thrones were set up,
And the Ancient of Days took His seat...
The court sat,
And the books were opened.'"

Daniel 7:1, 9, 10

John's Vision

"And I saw the dead, the great and the small, standing before the throne, and books were opened; and another book was opened, which is the book of life; and the dead were judged from the things which were written in the books, according to their deeds...

And if anyone's name was not written in the book of life, he was thrown into the lake of fire."

Revelation 20:12, 15

Blots and Erasers in the Book of Life

"Then Moses returned to the Lord, and said, 'Alas this people have sinned a great sin, and they have made a god of gold for themselves. But now, if Thou wilt, forgive their sin -- and, if not, please blot me out from Thy book which Thou hast written!' And the Lord said to Moses, 'Whoever has sinned against Me, I will blot him out of My book.'"

Exodus 32:31, 32

"Then the Lord said to Moses, 'Write this in the book as a memorial, and place it in the ears of Joshua, that I will utterly blot out the memory of Amalek from under heaven.'"

Exodus 17:14

"Remember what Amalek did to you along the way when you came out of Egypt, how he met you along the way and attacked among you all the stragglers at your rear when you were faint and weary; and he did not fear God. Therefore it shall come about when the Lord your God has given you rest from all you surrounding enemies, in the land which the Lord your God gives you as an inheritance to possess it, you shall blot out the memory of Amalek from under heaven; you must not forget."

Deuteronomy 25:17-19

"Son of man, prophesy against the prophets of Israel who prophesy, and say to those who prophesy from their own inspiration (Lit. heart). Thus says the Lord God, 'Woe to the foolish prophets who are following after their own spirit and have seen nothing... You have not gone up into the breaches, nor did you build the wall around the house of Israel to stand in battle on the day of the Lord.' They see falsehood (lit. vanity) and lying divination who are saying, 'The Lord declares', when the Lord has not sent them; yet they hope for fulfillment of their word.

Therefore says the Lord God, 'Because you have spoken vanity and seen a lie, therefore behold I am against you... So My hand will be against the prophets who see false visions and utter lying divinations. They will have no place in (Lit. not be in) the council of My people, nor will they be written down in the register of the house of Israel, nor will they enter the land of Israel...'"

Ezekiel 13:2, 3, 5, 6, 8, 9

Consequences:

"The beast that you saw was and is not, and is about to come up out of the abyss and he goes to destruction. And those who dwell on the earth will wonder, whose name has not been written in the book of life from the foundation of the world; when they see the beast, that he was and is not and will come."

Revelation 17:8

"And all who dwell on the earth will worship him, everyone whose name has not been written from the foundation of the world in the book of life of the Lamb who has been slain."

Revelation 13:8

God's House and the Book of Life

"Behold, your house is left to you desolate..."

Luke 13:35

"Reproach has broken My heart, and I am so sick.
And I looked for sympathy and there was none,
And for comforters, but I found none.
They also gave me gall for my food,
And for my thirst they gave me vinegar to drink...

May their encampment be desolate;
May none dwell in their tents.
For they have persecuted him whom Thou Thyself hast smitten...

Do Thou add iniquity to their iniquity,
And may they not come into righteousness.
And may they be blotted out of the book of life,
And may they not be recorded (Lit. written) with the righteous."

Psalm 69:20, 21, 25-28

"'A curse shall go forth,' says the Lord of hosts, 'and it shall enter into the house of the thief and into the house of him who swears falsely by My name, and it shall abide in the midst of his house and shall consume it, both its timber and stone.'"

Zechariah 5:3

"Woe to those who add house to house and join field to field,
Until there is no more room,
So that you have to live alone in the midst of the land.
In my ears the Lord of hosts has sworn, 'Surely, many houses shall become desolate,
Even great and fine ones, without occupants.'"

Isaiah 5:8, 9

"And I saw no temple (or sanctuary) in it, for the Lord God, the Almighty, and the Lamb are its temple... and nothing unclean and no one who practices abomination and lying, shall ever come into it, but only those who are written in the Lamb's book of life."

Revelation 21:22, 27

"Stand in the gate of the Lord's house and proclaim there this word, and say, 'Hear the word of the Lord, all you of Judah who enter by these gates to worship the Lord! Amend your ways and your deeds, and I will let you dwell in this place. Do not trust in deceptive words saying, "This is the temple of the Lord, the temple of the Lord, the temple of the Lord."

Behold you are trusting in deceptive words to no avail. Has this house, which is called by My name, become a den of robbers in your sight? Behold, I have seen it,' declares the Lord."

Jeremiah 7:2-4, 8, 11

"And Jesus entered the temple, and cast out all those who were buying and selling in the temple, and overturned the tables of the moneychangers and the seats of those who were selling doves. And He said to them, 'It is written, My house shall be called a house of prayer, but you are making it a robbers' den.'"

Matthew 21:12, 13

"...For in the case of those who have once been enlightened and have tasted of the heavenly gift and have been made partakers of the Holy Spirit, and have tasted the good word of God and the powers of the age to come, and have fallen away, it is impossible to renew them again to repentance, since they again crucify to themselves the son of God, and put Him to open shame.

For ground that drinks the rain which often comes upon it and brings for vegetation useful to those for whose sake it is also tilled, receives a blessing from God; but if it yields thorns and thistles, it is worthless and close to a curse, and its end is for burning."

Hebrews 6:1, 4-8

"Wake up, and strengthen the things that remain... for I have not found your deeds completed in the sight of my God... He who overcomes shall thus be clothed in white garments; and I will not erase his name from the book of life..."

Revelation 3:2

"The kingdom of heaven may be compared to a man, a king, who made a wedding feast for his son. But when the king came in to look over the dinner quests, he saw there a man not dressed in wedding clothes and he said to him, 'Friend, how did you come in here without wedding clothes?' And he was speechless. Then the king said to his servants, 'Bind him hand and foot, and cast him into outer darkness; in that place there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth. For many are called, but few are chosen.'"

Matthew 22:2, 11-13

"The Son of Man will send forth His angels, and they will gather out of His kingdom all stumbling blocks, and those who commit lawlessness, and will cast them into a furnace of fire; in that place there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth. Then the righteous will shine forth as the sun in the kingdom of their Father."

Matthew 13:41-43

Again:

"Wake up, and strengthen the things that remain... for I have not found your deeds completed in the sight of my God... He who overcomes shall thus be clothed in white garments; and I will not erase his name from the book of life..."

Revelation 3:2

"Now in a large house there are not only gold and silver vessels, but also vessels of wood and of earthenware, and some to honor and some to dishonor. Therefore, if a man cleanses himself from these things, he will be a vessel for honor, sanctified, useful to the Master, prepared for every good work. Now flee from youthful lusts, and pursue righteousness, faith, love and peace, with those who call on the Lord from a pure heart."

2 Timothy 2:20-22

A Pure Heart
(Handbook 2, Article 26)

"And I saw the dead, the great and the small, standing before the throne, and books were opened; and another book was opened, which is the book of life; and the dead were judged from the things which were written in the books, according to their deeds... And if anyone's name was not found written in the book of life, he was thrown into the lake of fire."
